Greetings and salutations!
Welcome to Flamebolt! It's a little chilly in here. Big room and it's just me in here. For now, anyway, though I suspect that it shall not be the case for long.

Introductions first! I call myself Savvel, named after my character in Final Fantasy XIV. I do come by many names, so please do not be surprised if I have a video or screenshot of a character with a different name. I will give credit if it's not me.
I am an aspiring musician and composer, so please look forward to my creations. We can all laugh at how bad they are. I play video games as a hobby, although if I can juice some pocket money out of it, that would be great. I'm not much of an outdoors person, but I do go outside to get food and check for mail.
My gaming history started early as a kid playing my Famicom with preloaded games. Then my dad decided to buy me a Super Nintendo and I looooved the Donkey Kong game in there. When I got a bit older, my mom sent money so I could have a PlayStation. Not long after, the Pokémon craze hit my country, so my mom bought me, my sister, and my cousins Game Boy Colors and Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow.
My family was reunited in 2001 and subsequently moved to the United States for a better life. My mom gave me an allowance to go to school, and I used it to buy games from a classmate who became a dear friend. He was selling me his old games, which were new to me. We were in middle school, and after we graduated, I used my summer job money to buy a PlayStation 2. I couldn't afford all of it, so my mom paid for the missing portion in exchange for sharing the console with my sister. We ended up getting a trial version of Dynasty Warriors 3, and we've purchased almost all of the later versions until she moved out.

I was in high school when I was introduced to Final Fantasy XI, but I never played it. Instead, I played games like Ragnarok Online when I stayed briefly in my home country. When I moved back to the States, I played Mu Online with my sister. I made some friends there who introduced me to big-time MMORPGs like Lineage II, then World of Warcraft. Since then, I played many MMOs. I made friends and enemies, but in the end, real life consumed them, and now I mostly play by myself, even though I am part of so many guilds and Discord servers.
That's pretty much all I want to share about me and my gaming life. I do have a real life still. If by chance you end up on my blog, feel free to share your story. Until then!
This is Savvel. I’m testing the comment section.
